Bridal Make Up

Make up is a surprisingly overlooked item when planning something as big as a wedding when it should be up there with the most important things as it is the photographs that will be cherished over the years to come.

My personal approach to make up for brides is one of corrective, subtle make up that enhances the bride’s best features and makes her look naturally radiant. The first thing people notice when they look at the bride is how beautiful she looks, not the make itself. If it is too obvious, it will look overdone and artificial so I believe that understated and sophisticated elegance is the way to go.

It is advisable to have a pre-wedding trial. This is a time when we get to discuss any questions you may have. Also if you’re not used to wearing make up, a trial will make you feel more confident about how you’re going to look and also may give you some hints and tips.

I recommend a trial 6-8 weeks before the big day to test any sensitivity to the products. Everything we discuss and the products I use in the trial will be documented, so on your special day there will be no confusion and all you need do is relax.
